The cable knife No. 16 SECURA is suitable for stripping all common round cables and is often used for NYM-J, NYY-J, NHXMH-J, e. g. 3×1.5, 5×2.5 or 5×4 mm². The blades are titanium nitride coated. This ensures a faster cutting, less wear and a longer service life of the cable knife. The cutting depth of the inner blade can be adjusted using an adjustment screw at the end of the handle, and the adjustment to the round and longitudinal cut is automatic. The cable knife has soft components on the bracket and handle, making it extremely easy to grip.The housing is made of high-quality, wear-resistant polyamide, inside the tool contains a titanium nitride coated replacement blade.
